Welcome, welcome, welcome to the first step of your online Story Craft Theatre experience!
Our Craft and storytelling sessions are now COMING TO YOU! As always there will be plenty of games, songs, silly faces and ridiculous characters all based on a popular picture book each week.
WHEN AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We will be running Crafty Tales sessions 3 times a week:
Start time of 10am, it’s aimed for 2-5 years and costs £3.50 per child. The session will run for approximately 50 minutes.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
There will be craft making, our famous Crafty Tales song . . . (sorry if you can’t get it out of your head, better than Baby Shark though . . . sorry, pretend we didn’t say it!!), then it will be imaginative storytelling based around a popular picture book each week and finishing off with reading the book together. We always include a mix of games, songs, dancing, puppets and characters to make it fun as well as educational.
As it’s aimed for 2-5 year olds it does require some adult supervision at times, especially at the start when crafting, if scissors are required.
You can book your tickets online via www.bookwhen.com/storycrafttheatre
Once you have purchased your ticket, you’ll receive a confirmation email, which will include a list of craft materials and the login details.
THE ONLINE CRAFTY TALES SESSION:
We will be using ZOOM to host the sessions. This is a simple online video conferencing site that is free to use. If you are using a mobile phone, you will need to download the app.
It’s a video call so we can see you and you can see us. It will be muted to start, that’s just so we can say hello to everyone but there will be plenty of opportunities to interact ……..don’t worry you guys will still be able to knock us over with a Hello or two!!
We ask you to have craft material ready for the start of the session so everyone is ready to go at 10am.
ARE WE DOING ANYTHING ELSE?
We’re also posting mini craft activities on Tuesday and Thursday through our social media sites to keep you entertained!
If you have any questions, thoughts or ideas before or after the session we would love to hear them. This is new to us too so we want to make it great for everyone.
